Each safari is private with a relaxed atmosphere and a warm and welcoming staff.

A typical Choroa crew, depending on the number of people in your party, consists of the camp manager, chef, sous chef, 2 camp temps, a truck driver and tour guide. We guarantee you will be well taken care of, receiving fresh juice after game drive, hot water in the wash basin in the mornings and evenings, along with a well-kept campfire for evening conversation. Laundry service is available daily when in camp. The staff is there to serve you ensuring every need is met.

The spacious tents contain framed beds, wash basins, 12 volt lighting, hot showers, flush toilets and outside seating areas. Each tent has room for one king bed or up to three single beds.

In the middle of camp is the dining tent, set up with a large dining table for meals prepared by the chef. The fully stocked bar ensures that you can relax with your evening drink of choice or a selection of wines from South Africa. The food is prepared by the chef in the "kitchen" and served by the staff. Fresh baked desserts and coffees or aperitifs around the campfire close out each evening.
