DAY 1 Arrival: You will be welcomed at Mt. Kilimanjaro airport in Arusha by your tour guide. He will escort you to your first night accommodations at a lodge in Arusha.
DAY 2 Tarangire: After a leisurely breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire. You will have the opportunity to take a short game drive on arrival and then head to your private camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 Tarangire: Take a full day game drive through Tarangire and see the vast amount of animal and bird life that prosper in this dense national park. The famous Baobab tree is also found within the park. These towering trees consist of 90% water, providing a great water source for animals such as elephants during the dry season. You have the option of having a picnic lunch in the park or a relaxing lunch at the camp. Tonight will be spent in your private camp with dinner provided.
DAY 4 Lake Manyara: After breakfast, depart for a half day game drive through Tarangire, then head to Lake Manyara for a night at the lodge.
DAY 5 Lake Manyara: Get an early start on the day to drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive through the park to view the lush forest and woodlands. You may see the famous tree-climbing lions, along with the many other animals residing here. Dinner and overnight at the lodge to prepare for your departure the following day.
DAY 6 Serengeti: After an early breakfast depart to the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. You will be able to have a short game drive upon arrival before heading to your private camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 & 8 Serengeti: The Serengeti is the perfect place to view the amazing wildebeast migration during the months of May and June. Tour the entire park, from the vast plains to the rivers. Lunch is served in camp on one day and a picnic on the other. You may also take a hot air balloon ride concluding with a champagne breakfast under acacia trees. This balloon ride allows you to watch the sunrise over the plains of the park and meet other visitors from around the world. The days conclude with dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 9 Ngorongoro: After breakfast you will be driven to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world, for a full day game drive. Here you descend into the crater to view a diverse group of animals and a fascinating varied ecosystem. The rare black rhino may be spotted here, along with a lake full of pink flamingos. After the game drive, you will be escorted to your lodge for the night.
DAY 10 Return: After breakfast depart for an afternoon of shopping and lunch in the town of Arusha. You will then be transfered to JRO airport in time for your return flight home.
